Dear Mom & Dad:
It has been a few weeks since I heard from you. The last letter came shortly after the easter parcel. Ive written one letter since then.
The summer has realy come to stay now. Every thing is in full bloom and the days are lovely and warm.
The planes of Fritz never pay us a visit at all now. We feel rather insulted about it. Apparently they dont consider us as a military objective - and after all the rigorous training we have done - well we'll show him when we meet. Personaly we think we are Britans secret weapon. Don't breath a word.
Seriously, I dont think Hitler knows where we are. We are so well comoflaged that even if he drove through our lines in broad daylight I'm doubtful if he could detect the presence of a regiment. So from the air there is nothing on the ground worth droping a perfectly good costly bomb on.
I havent much news to write about this time. Just scribbled this note to let you know I'm still around so that you'll not worry. The PT course failed to materialize as yet. I'm still hoping though. This is all for now. Lots of love
Boyley
