Dear Mom:
We arrived in Camp yesterday afternoon and it looks like we are going to enjoy this. We have been issued uniform and blankets socks, underwear and everything we need.
I haven't got the chance to see Mart yet and I may not for a while because we will not be able to leave camp until we are able to salute officers, etc... The uniforms are regular C.A.S.F. clothes. The huts and barracks are swell, hot and cold water and showers. We had poached eggs on toast for breakfast and roast for dinner.
I haven't got my regimental number yet but you can get me at this address.
