Dear Friend
Mrs. H. Johns.

Well this is Sunday night and we have not gone overseas yet. And have no idea when we will. They do not seem to know when we will go. The 149th is going to London in the morning. The 186th went to Chatham this morning. We are all well hoping that this finds you's the same. We had a royal send off the other morning at Exeter. I suppose yous will be at your mangles by this time. We are having fine wheather up here for this time of the year. We certainly enjoyed the lunches that we brought with us. We have some of our cakes left yet but they will keep for a quite while. Well I hope that you will not have any unnesary anxiety over us While we are away for will try keep to gether as long as possible. Well this is all for this time
