Dear Folks -
Just now I'll settle down and write you a letter. Received a letter from Glen saying he was going down to Price's place for the a couple of weeks not being able to get farm leave.
At the present am away from the squadron on a course A/C rec - (aircraft rec) dont know whether I'll be an instructor as yet, but don't find it any fun giving lectures, just not born a public speaker. The food is not so good but am living with a couple of americans so spending most of the time in above address.
Must be getting a little like harvest again over there, can remember last year when I graduated we were flying over farmers combining, and that was first part of Sept.
Before coming here, I spent two weeks on leave in London, & some also in Glasgow.
Been wondering but suppose everything is much the same over home. Haven't receive a letter from you for a few days but they may be back at base.
Really seeing some fine country these days - and talk about nice flowers, should see the lawns nice roses etc.
Enjoying some good meals here in the Red Cross, chicken, roast duck, led of pork etc - Just missed sine corn on the cob the other day - don't know whether I live to eat now or what.
Ran into one of my chums in London who used to be weith me in the Pig, seem to really break up the time.
How is your pony Lill, did you get a new one or not ?
Think I'd better sign off now Haven't gotten Lewis's add - hope you have it O.K. Will study some tonite. The war looks good now, ay
All yours - Claude
