Dear George:-
Just a few lines. I'm feeling alright but thought I would write you. I have written to Dad, Lill, and Mag.
I'm hit in [?] legs, [?] left arm and back and will be in Blighty soon.
So long until you hear from me again.

Dear Sir:-
I enclose a note dictated by your brother J.A. Turner who came here as a patient yesterday. You will prize it for it was dictated by him when he was dying. I don't know whether he knew it or not. His breath was coming short. I repeated the 23rd Psalm and the Lord's Prayer & he said them after me word for word. His spine was injured and he had no chance. He was a fine boy. God comfort and keep you. Your brother will be buried in the Etaples Military Cemetery.
Yours Sincerely,
J.S. Darcey[?] W.S.A. Chaplain
