Dear Mother -

Just a few lines hoping they find you all in the best of health at home. I'm getting along fine, as usual, and having a great time. We are still getting the nice weather, and also a rest along with it, and get in lots of football, and other sports, so we almost forgot the war "praps". I often wonder how everything is going with you all out there. I suppose there will be plenty of changes when I get home, even down to the car, eh? No, Joe didn't say anything about it. I guess that they will be busy as ever. Wonder if they got that well in yet. It will make a difference if they have a good one. Well Mother dear, there isn't much to write of, so I'll close with best love to all, your loving Son

Frank

P.S. I'm still a great hand at writing long letters, aren't I!
