Dundas Nov 12/18 Dear Mrs Welsh Your letter has been a long time with out an answer. But pressure of work has prevented me coming to it and even now I am on the road night and day. I was with the troops in the show at Moreul Wood Mar 30 and we had a great many casualties there. It was a wonderful fight and our men excelled themselves bringing lustre to the Canadians. Corpl Welsh D.C.M. aiding in that splendid work. I greatly regret that I can give you no further word of this heroic soldier. If he were a prisoner he would have communicated with you before this. Knowing your lad as a good soldier I feel sure he would have done this to have relieved your mind. The only word we get after a show is through the H.Q. at London as we are moved to another section as soon as a show is over. I am sorry that this helps you not-but I pray that God may comfort you in your hour of sorrow and loss when days of joy are here for the whole world. Very Sincerely Yours Andrew D. Robb Capt
