Dear Sister Ona & Levi,
Received your letter of April 20th and was glad to hear from you. The dollar came all right in it and I will spend it on some good eats. I had a pint can of pineapple for supper it cost 20 so I can get some good fruit with it alright.
Thanks for the dollar.
I also got some money from Mother last night. I get most of the Chronicles allright, so keep on sending them. I sent a few Field card to you when I was up in the trenches to let you know I am well and getting along all right at present.
I am out of the trenches on a rest so will have some time back here in a French village. Put my address like this Pte. ___
#739465 "C" Company
19th Battalion, Canadians
B.E.F. France
I hope you get a good photo of your baby for me.
I just wrote a letter home to night.
I think the job Orrin has in Welland is not very good as I know a lot about that kind of work. Hope he does better in Port Colborne.
I am well and in the best of health and hope this letter find you well also.
With love from Arthur
