Dear Ona & Levi,
Received the chronicles you sent me dated April 20th & 27th & May 4th and was glad to get them. I passed them around to the Dunnville boys in the Battalion. I also got the dollar you sent me, thanks for the same. I also got some money from Mother. I wrote to you about three days ago. I seen L. Dodge last night and expect to see A. Calbeck tonight. Keep on sending the Chronicles as I get them all I think. I just wrote to Steve & Aunt Maggie to day. I am well and hope you are all well also. The weather here is fine at present. Well I think I will close for this time
