My Dear Little Girlie/

Thank you very much for your very nice letter I was very pleased and proud of it. So you are going to Dorking with Mamma eh? Well I hope the present fine weather will continue then you will have a fine time. We have to get up at 4:00 in the morning now. And I can tell you our Corporal has a fine time getting us up. The fellow next to me would not get up this morning so the Corporal tipped up his bed boards and of course he rolled off on to the floor. Then he got mad picked up one of his boots and threw at the Corporal hitting him in the neck. Please thank Momma very much for the nice parcel which arrived last night. Everything was quite allright except the glass jar with the tomatoes in but the contents were safe. With all y my very best love and kisses
