Thursday evening March 1st

I did not post the enclosed when I had written it, so I will add a few words. I was in the Depot splint room working yesterday when a lady asked me if I was any relation to Mr. Leighton of the G. School. She told me she knew you all and spoke so splendidly of Fred, but I said you were all very full of mischief. Her name was Mrs. Dacre. This morning a Miss Williams in the same way said she was most interested in my talk yesterday when Mrs. Dacre and I were talking, she went to the Kindergarten with you boys & asked after Percivale's curly head.

I am thinking of calling on Mrs. Barton next week she is the new Headmaster's wife at the Grammar School. Dr. Parker was a little better when I was asked [?] yesterday.

I am hoping to get away for a change soon. Bless you my dear boy. God bless you & all fighting us poor women & the countries. Miss Williams brother is in the 2nd Canadian Seaforths - N.K.W. I fancy are his initials. Yr loving Auntie Anna
