Dear Lettie

Just a few lines to say I am enclosing a money order for one pound or it may be in Francs. We are not in the trenches yet but I suppose we will be some of these days. E. Smith that I sent you his photo is in the hospital. I think it is the grippe and Mr. Gidney hurt his knee on Friday and he is in the hospital for a few days. We're having chilly weather here now.
