Up at 4 o'clock and on march at 7. Marched about 12 miles to FREEYILLERS, arriving about noon. Very small farmers Village. We have mess in No. 1 billet. Sleep in No. 5. (Have to step into room through windows.) Played cards all afternoon.
Cool all day. Nice for marching.
