Up at 4 AM for Stand to. Dugout very damp and chilly. I got out early and cleaned up then took stock of trench stores.
Sat outside most of the day. Wrote to Beulah. Saw Charley Tyers of the 1st C M R's today.
Relieved the 81st in front line at dusk. 'D' Coy in left support this trip.
Had one man (Baynes) killed on road going in to relieve.
