Dr. DONALD ARMOUR WRITES.
(FROM ENGLAND)
Miss Warner has received the following acknowledgement from Dr. Donald Armour for contribution sent, it being the proceeds of the organ recital held in St. Peter's Church in August.
89 Harley St., London, Eng.,
Oct. 30, 1917.
My Dear Miss Warner:
I cannot say how much we appreciate your continued interest in the Queen's Canadian Hospital as evinced by your draft for 13 pounds 17s 7d. You will receive an official receipt from our Hon. treasurer, Mr. G.C. Cassels, but that will in no way convey to you our deep appreciation and warm thanks. Your contribution will be used, as your previous one was, in defraying the expenses of the 'Cobourg Operating Theatre,' where all our operations are performed and which has been the object of so much admiration and I fear, envy, too, on the part of visitors, from other hospitals. It was good to see James Dickinson, associated with you in your noble work on behalf of our sick and wounded. Accept, we pray you, my own personal thanks and appreciation for your kind thought of our hospital.
Yours sincerely,
DONALD ARMOUR.
