Letter
June 8th, 1916.
Belgium,
Just a line to let you know I'm O.K. and feeling fit as a fiddle. I know this scrap will worry you and even late as this will get to you it will be welcome I'm living with Harry Crerar at the 11th just now in a dug out.
There has'nt been any word of the Major at all. I dont suppose we will ever know what happened to him.
I had a letter from Hope last night she says the photos are nearly ready so you can expect them soon now.
The Colonel is getting a higher command and we are all glad to see it as he has been such a splendid Brigadier.
I had a note from Babs too last night. I'm glad his battalion was'nt in this affair.
