Dear Mom,

I have sent you two pounds in another letter, with which you can buy silk, or simikar stockings for May and her sister, Hilda. I don't know how many stockings each 20 shillings will get, but one of the sizes should be that which would fit into a # 2 shoe, and be medium shade, and "fully fashioned". The other size should be size 8 1/2 to fit a # 3 1/2 shoe medium light colour and again "fully fashioned".

I'll pay any extra costs, if they are needed.
