Letter
Madoc, Ontario,

Dear Helen,
Well, I'm back at the old stand again. Landed here on Thursday evening. Had a beautiful trip across and a nice time from Halifax to here.
I had a letter written to you to send from Montreal but as I had mislaid your address temporarily, I was unable to send it. Consequently I'm duplicating it with this one. Some horrid attempt, isn't it? Poor pen and a worse blotter.
Well, what can you expect? We're in civvies again….May possibly be in Toronto this week and will see you, - May I?
Expect to be there Friday.
Well, au revoir for now.
Lovingly,
Fred.
