Your claim has been allowed. It will probably be best for you to come here and arrange the payment of it. It will not do for it to be known that you reside in Canada. Mr. Smith or myself will attend to drawing the money after you have signed the proper papers. This can only be done in this State and for reasons not explainable on paper can be more easily accomplished at this place than elsewhere. Le me know when you will come so I may be at home.
