Papa & R. Cummings left for Quesnel at 10 a.m. this morning in the Ford. I had Dave & Victor over cutting seed potatoe all afternoon. Took mamma down in the waggon to Park's this afternoon & brought up the marker.

26 Wednesday

Was up at 5.30 a.m. & got to work at 7 a.m. getting ready for planting. Saul is working her now I gave him a job last night. Miss Ried was up here for supper tonight & stayed all night. damn her & her [?]

Planting potatoes all day.
