Dear Mother
Well I have arrived safe and sound on the 13th.
We had a good trip over here & a good time.
I kept a diary on the boat a copy of which I am enclosing.
You will notice by my address that I am with the 32nd now. It trains the men as they come from Canada & then sends them to other Battn. at the front.
I got a letter from Grandpa today and a card from Uncle Geo. and Elsie Fisher.
Aunt Mary & the girls are away on holidays but Uncle cannot get away this year.
Grandpa says the Zeps passed over there and dropped bombs & Aunt Abe was scared out of her wits. She is sick yet.
Elsie Fisher says that she expected I would be over before long.
We are in a nice place here. About 1 mile from Folkstone & we go down there nearly every night.
We see quit of lot of Airoplanes around here. They are sailing around all the time. We go down to the sea every morning at 6 o'clock. The drill is a lot harder here than a Sewell, but we can stand it all night.
I am going to London soon I expect.
Well I will write again on Sunday, when I will be able to see better and have more time. It is pretty dark here as the lights are not burning good, and I am sleepy too. Give my love to the kids & Father and write soon. Goodbye with lots of love from your loving son
George
