My Dear Mother:-
Today is designated as Mother's day so I must 'ere I retire to my humble couch just drop you a line and enclose a card to show that I, too, remember my own mother and desire to express how much I owe to her and all that she has done and is doing for me.
Since I last wrote you we have moved and we are now quartered in a small French town, billeted in a barn belonging to a farmer. It is not what you would call an ideal barn and the French ideas of farming vary in many details to Canadian methods. Next letter I write I will try and describe the French farm.
We are all well and living alright. Tomorrow we are going for a bath which will, I think, do me much good.
Well, I must close. Very best wishes from
Yours
Frank.
