Dear Mom:

Received your parcel with the films in it. We went back for a rest and have got all our summer kit now. Underwear and everything so I guess your parcels will arrive with lots of clothing in it. That's the way everything seems to work over here. Either to little or to much. Except with the beer, they still dole it out a quart at a time.

Received a letter from Shirl the other day, she's still in Chicago and is paying towards a car. She says Lil and Ken are coming to the coast, I don't know whether they are coming back to live or not.

I got a card from Mae announcing another addition to the fold. Is that all she can produce, red headed devils.

I'm still waiting for that leave to Japan, something to look forward to, but I wish it would hurry up.

I'm still fine only and 1,000 more hills to go. I was swimming in the Han river the other day, but the Island rivers are much better.

Love
Ed.
