Dear Sister
Just a few lines to let you know I rec'd your welcome letter a day or so ago.
I am in the best of health and things are going along swimmingly at present, although the weather has been wet we have had very good billets to stay in so have not much minded it very much.
I was very pleased to hear that Herbert is well again. You must tell him from me to take good care of himself or I may not be able to dance at his wedding.
I am not allowed to tell you where we are at present. I don't know why, for I guess Fritz knows we are here. Well I will close with best love to all the folks from your affectionate brother Albert
PS I will write again to mother in a day or so
