Dear Madam,
Very many thanks for your letter dated Jan. 19th enclosing (pounds) 6.5.0 for which I enclose receipt. As you will see from our previous letter we transfered the last amount sent for Pte. J.A. Holdsworth 4th CMR. To C.M Drummond 113192. 4th C.M.R. as Pte Holdsworth is now in Switzerland. We are, therefore, giving (pounds) 3.2.6. of the money sent this time to Pte Drummond and (pounds) 3.2.6. to Pte R. Gray 31st Batt. For whom I enclose adoption slip. We are sending them 3-10/-boxes of food monthly - as neither of these men can have more than this amount from you.
Trusting this is quite in order.
Yours very truly,
S. R Bulckeley

Dear Madam,
The money we received from you in July last for the abovenamed Prisoner of War was not spent. Would you prefer we should return this to you or place it to our Prisoners' General Fund?
Yours faithfully,
