Dear Dad;

Just a word to say that I am O.K. as such. Never felt better, dad.

Well I guess the boys will soon be home eh? Seeing that the war is finished, I sincerely hope so. I'm impatient to get back into civilian clothes again, to feel Yonge St. under my feet.

Well I had my picture taken when on leave, so am enclosing it. What do you think of it? Have I changed much. Has three years made much change in my features. I still look like a Sproule don't I.

Well, Dad, I'll not write much of a letter I'll leave the photos talk.
