Dear Dad;

I am feeling O.K. In fine condition dad. Things are pretty quiet for us just at present. I am taking this opportunity of writing to you.

How are you keeping these days; busy?

The weather is good and hot over here. But thats the weather I like. There's nothing like a good sweat to keep in condition, and we are doing lots of that.

How are all the folks. Is Harvey in the army? I received a letter from you some time ago. I thank you.

I wonder when we will be home again This coming July I will be in France two years It is over two years since I left Toronto. Time flies. Honestly dad it doesn't seem that long at all.

Let us hope & pray that we will be able to go home, before another two years have gone by.

It became so dark that I could not go on last night.

I suppose the good weather has set in by now. It must be pretty warm, in Ontario.

Well Dad. Pardon this short note will you. It lets you know that I am well.

Love Joe
