Epsom

My Dear Dorothy, -
In an hour & a half the bus leaves for London, & while I am waiting I will try to get you a letter written. It is raining this morning & so I did not go up on the early train as usual. However I will get an inside seat on the bus to Clapham Common & will take the tube from there to Paddington, so I will not mind the rain. It has rained nearly every day this week.
Yesterday I went down to the picture show with Nurse Roberts, and afterwards we had tea in “Ye Olde Tea Roome” in Epsom Nurse R. Is a swell little Welsh girl in our ward and a good friend of mine.
I was quite surprised to fine two tins of tobacco in a parcel from home. That is the stuff to give the troops I suppose that was some of your buying.
Sometime you might put in in a tin of Imperial Mixture. That is about as good Canadian tobacco as you can get.
I am being sent from Epsom to a Canadian Hospital somewhere in Hampshire. I cannot remember the name of the hospital, but it is a special one for such cases as mine. My arm is slowly improving with the massage treatment. I will soon have been all over this country
I have enjoyed my stay in Epsom very much, especially the trips up to London every Saturday. I will miss these when I get down in Hampshire
Have you seen Erroll Bobb yet? I would like to get hold of him for a few minutes. I hope the conscription act ropes him in quick
I hope you like S. R. you will soon get used to the bank work & will like it better then. Will write home tomorrow & you will have it sent on.
Lovingly
Markle
