My Dear Dorothy, -

Will just take time to write you a short note today. Rec'd your letter written pre & post your visit home at Thanksgiving

I wrote home a few days ago telling them about my visit to Reading last Saturday. They will probably send it on to you. I hope to be able to go up for this coming weekend, but am not sure yet.

I think the only thing that will do Dad any good is a trip over to this country. We must try, or insist for him to come over here after the war, just as soon as possible. I can not imagine any thing that would do him more good or give him more genuine pleasure and we will have to save up a hundred or two to help him out. Do you think you can do that?

I hope to be able to go up to London for Xmas this year. That will be next best to being at home & a whole lot better than last year.

Havent really much to write about this time. Think over that proposition about a trip for dad. Of course some one would have to come with him, so you better get the idea for yourself.

Cheerio

Lovingly

Markle
