My Darling Mother
I rec your very dear letter some days ago, at least Florence rec it & then sent it down to me, Well I am feeling bum today I have a real bad cold in my Lunges, I was working all morning also worked yesturday after noon No rest for the wicked, we are going to leave Ashford very soon, the shop here is not large enough, I do think we will be going to London to work, But will tell you later, it would be fine to get up there, we sure would have good time, But Gee this Country is a D__ to rain, it rains nearly all the time, worse then Vancouver or Victoria, I got wet to skin night befor last, I guess that is where I got my cold,
Well Mother the young family has not shown its nose yet. We expect him about the 12th or 15th of October, Florence has not been well this week, the lettle animal Kicks all the time, But she does not seem to mind she seems to like it. All the time it Kicks she is Happy, & when it stops she gets down hearted & does not like it, Well Mother there is no news at all around here now, we work 8 hours a day & siven days a week, Florence will be back with me as soon & Babo is born and she is well enough to get around again, But she is going to stay with her Mother now untell baby is born, say when is Greta going to have a baby? I have gave up hops & Hazel now, Will I hope you injoyed your tripe east, Did you see Dad,? How is Granpa geting on now? Has he thoughts of his Great Grand child in his Will, its a wonderful child Mother I think every bady should be thinking of it,,
Well I must close as there is no news will write next week again Love to all at home tell them I will write them all again soon, & that I am stell alive also Wife & family. Hoping you are all Well.
