My Dearest Mother

We rec no letter from you this week, But will expect one next week is all Mails are not on time these days

Well we are both very Well. I did not see Florence yesturday But am going up this after-noon, But she was feeling fine Friday evening, it is just 2 month more today befor she is supposed to be sick, and I guess it will be a long two months for her, But she works & walks lots. so she should be good & strong.

I am stell working every day, But am sure fed-up with the way things are going around here just now. we work our heads off for nothing, I think I would rather be back at R. E. Barracks; I am stell Billeted with same Lady & gets lots to eat, it is a very dul day out looks much like rain & I am in my room laying on my bed writing this, Well by the look of things I don’t think I will be in Canada for this next Xmas, But hope the War Will be over next summer any way, & I do hope I can go back to Canada when the war is over, But will just have to wait & see. I Hope Hazel & Greta is all O.K. I dont get much of chance to write any body these days, for as soon as I have supper I get dressed & go & see Florence so have not much time to myself at all,

Has Bert got his Comission yet? if so I wish him the best of Luck, or has Geo joined the army? Hope not, & when is Bill joining? there is younger Kids then him in the Army over here. you never seen such a bunch of Kids as the Britch army is today some has just got out of craidel & joined army.

Well Mother there is no news, so will have to close, Am all right, Hope you the same, Will Love to all at Home And with best Love from us both, I am as ever your Loving Son

Harold
