Dear Mother;
We are leaving tomorrow for Rouen. We have very little time and I can’t say much.
Major Watts was up to say goodbye and is writing. I have seen Col. Rogers several times.
I have socks etc. and everything I need at present. I am feeling better than ever before.
Goodbye for awhile anyway.
Your loving son
Alec
