Dear Girls

Just a few lines to let you know that I am still alive and well.  I have not heard from any of you for some time.  I had a letter from home the other night the first mail I had for some time every thing seemed to be going on well with them.  I have not seen nor heard any thing of Ian for quite awhile but will likely see him again before long.  We have not had much warm weather yet but surely it will some time turn warmer.  I have just finished writing a letter home.  Now Girls if you do not hear from me very regular you must not be worried I may be only able to send a post card.  It will soon be two years since I left Canada but I hope I will be back before long.  Well Girls I will have to quit writing for now so Goodbye with love to all from
