The enclosed clipping from a London paper, which is so complimentary to the work done by our men in Flanders, will be gratifying to you I know.

Everything is going smoothly here. Nothing particularly new.

Your letter with newspaper clippings about Glad Murphy’s operation reached me yesterday morning. Please tell me as soon as you hear what Fred’s plans are. I hope you are not too lonely these days. Better come over and stay with me for a week weeks.
