Dear Neice and all

I now take the plesure of ancering your kind and welcome letters, I was up to London on my draft leave and I just got back last knight, and I had six letters here when I got back and the parcel that Mary sent it was a nice parcel, and in good condishion, I got one letter from you and one from your Mother and one from Earnest, and one from Happy, and one from Aunt Ellen, and you can gess how the other letter was from,

I’m sending you a photo I got them taking when I was up to London, I’m goining to France this week, so don’t expect to meny letters but I’ll rite as often as I can, I had a card from Burt Hill yesterday he is giting along fine.

You said yous got your garden all frozing it is sure to bad I sent your mother a little parcel some time ago I hope she gits it all rite,

I haven’t seen M. Rheubottom yet, old hen must be taking it hard when he woun’t speek to eny one. I don’t know what he would be like if he was like some, where they take the last boy, well Gladys I havent much time to rite. I have four or five letters to rite yet and you know I aint much of a hand to rite

Tell Mary I sure injoyed that parcel she sent me. Well I must close for this time hoping to hear from yous soon again so good by.
