Dearest Jeanie.-

Received your letter to-day and I’m sure glad to hear every thing is going ok. I have to fly at 4 a.m. in the morning so I’m kind of going to bed early to-nite this is worse than nite shifts of course we always get the next day off and wait our turn for the next job so we average a trip about twice a week. a mosquito was lost to-day so we have to look for it first thing in the morning. I was playing golf all afternoon we took some snapshots so I’ll send them to you when I get them. I am enclosing a ration card I forgot to give you when I was home. I sure cant think of a name for it. I guess you will have to do all the work! and I’ll send Babs a dollar as soon as I get paid here. We get very good balman service here so I guess I wont need that shoe kit I’ll pick it up when I come home I can get two weeks leave nearly any time now but right now I cant afford it. and I cant get another special transp-ortation warrant till next year so I guess I wont be able to make it for awhile. The weather here has really been nice no rain or anything but this is a funny country its just a mass of small lakes and then the fog from the sea is liable to roll in any time A person gets so lazy here I don’t think I’ll ever be able to work for a living again but its like living on any coast I guess I’m sleepy all the time! (and no cracks) Well darling I guess I’ll quit now and go to bed I sure hope you get along ok when your time comes so goodbye for now

Love & kisses
Franks
