Dearest Jeanie.-

Well darling I received you last letter ok. Glad to hear you are still up and around. Well the whole squadron moves to Newfoundland the end of this week except our crew from Pat Bay our pilot put into join his former squadron and apparently he got it so it looks like I’ll be going to the 116 sqdn. at Sidney, N.S. with him and the rest of the crew. We had the monthly dance in the mess last nite what a brawl it ended about 6. A.M. this morning of course yours truly got fairly well oiled and a good time was had by all we had a beautiful bunch served everything you could think of, we were supposed to fly to-nite but its so foggy we cant get off the ground which is a pretty good setup after last nite. I got a card in the mail to0day saying I had a parcel at the post office I suppose it is the stuff you sent me I’ll pick it up in the morning. The people on the west coast have never seen fog compared to what they get here it just rolls in any time of the day from the seas and its so wet it is just like being out in the rain! I haven’t heard from mother or dad yet I guess I had better write them again I suppose they are waiting until you go to the hospital?

I still have a bit of a cold and feel lousy when I wake up in the morning but its getting better! I suppose you are just counting the days now it cant be so very long? I played 18 holes of golf yesterday afternoon and Im sure horrible at the game I lost two golf balls and my temper. I took in the show on the station to-nite it was pretty horrible except for the cartoon. I sure hate the thought of moving again but I suppose it has to be I certainly dread the thought of packing. Well darling I guess that is about all for now take good care of yourself

Love & kisses
Frank.
