Dearest Jeanie.-

Well darling I’m expecting mail again from you any day now? Well darling I guess we are moving to Tor Bay Newfie, at the end of this month a lot of the boys are sure burnt up about it, some of them just got their wives out here, from the west and they can’t take them to Newfoundland! (wives are sure a lot of trouble aren’t they?) I’ll be able to put Canada up on my tunic now I’ll be able to say we served outside of Canada anyway. (but what a cold [?] place!) 40 and 50 below all winter and really bushed you never leave the station except to go on leave.

Well my love I’m waiting on pins and needles to see what you are carrying around with and hope you get rid of (it) soon! I sure wish I could be there to see you through the whole business but you know I’ll be thinking about you but I guess that isn’t much help! I have a lot of spare time here and I do a lot of reading I ve read about five books from the mess library already how is Dennis & Barbara thank got next Friday is pay day I’ve certainly slipped along on very little this month. We are having the monthly dance at the mess next Saturday nite I guess that will be quite a brawl/ All I’ve done since I’ve been here is soak up quarts of ale it has been so warm I should be getting fat? I’ve only got about 16 flying hrs. so far this month. I guess I should write mother again an answer yet are they both ok! I sure feel tough to-day I picked up the damnedest cold somewhere I can hardly open my eyes. You can just keep addressing my mail here if you like darling until I write you from Newfoundland but my address there will be C.A.P.O. # 5 overseas R.C.A.F. Well I guess that is all for now darling so write soon.

Love & kisses
Frank.
