Dearest Jeanie.-

Just a note before I leave here. We leave for Moncton this afternoon and pull out for Reykjavik first thing to-morrow morning. So write to me often (and I do mean often) If they can spare us there it is possible we may get our leave right away. (of course Ive given up my leave?) but they will probably be pretty busy or we wouldn’t be going! of course we are the only crew that are going. Most of the fellows envious us they have been trying to get over for years. Well darling take good care of yourself and love to the rest of the family I’ll write as soon as I get there
