Dearest Jeanie.-

Received two letters from you this afternoon one that was sent to Sydney on the 24th of Sept. and your airmail letter of the 27th I was sure happy to get them (even though you do want $20.00) Darling I have all kinds of money coming but I don’t know how I can 20 for you They took away all our Canadian money when we left Canada and there is no such thing here We just draw what we need around here in Kronur and it’s a criminal act to send out any out this stuff (I don’t think it would be any good in Canada anyway) but darling if I can figure out some angle I’ll send it as soon as possible it is worth more than $20 up here just to get a letter from you. darling I miss you and love you so much (absence makes the heart grow fonder or something) I also received a letter from mother enclosed was one of Art’s letters he must be back with Mickey the dope! I sure hope Gary can be fixed up and darling you know expense is nothing cash my war bonds (they are bearer bonds) when you get them!

The weather cleared a bit to-day and its quite warm although we get rain showers all the time. There is a show on the station to-nite it is supposed to be pretty good so I suppose I’ll go. Well my love I’ll just be waiting for next mail day again so keep them coming. The meals are certainly improving here we actually had apples and oranges on the table for supper to-nite! Also real butter (not the usual margarine) and peanut butter and beautiful Canadian cheese. it sure was a change we nearly all fainted. Our winter supply ship must have come in? Well darling must close for now and write mother a note so good bye for now and all my love & kisses

Frank.
