Dear Herbie-

Thanks so much for your letter. I have had no news of you for quite a while now. and no news here yet as to my movements- I wrote to Major Byng Hall asking him for information but have not had a reply yet.

Have you had any letters? I have had none but funny enough am getting the Colonist paper though. I hope some come soon. If there is anything that you want be sure and let me know. I wish that I was with you. Write if you get a chance.
