Nursing Sister Lieut. Gertrude L. Squire, whose arrival at Halifax was noted in these columns last week, reached home last Thursday morning. In consideration of the valuable services which Sister Squire has rendered since the outbreak of the war, a public reception was tendered her in the town hall last evening. THE REGISTER goes to press to early too give a report of the proceedings, but we heartily join in the welcome to this noble young lady.
