Dear Mrs:–
Allow me to introduce myself to you I am Mr Frank Jones.
Received your letter [and I?] am answering it at once.
I am verry surry to tell you but I was with Mr. Burnett when he got killed at Vimy Ridge for I was one of them that took him out so you can be sure he is killed he sure was a good pall of mine I did miss him when he was goon Frank and I were all-ways to-geather.
