Packed our kits to be shipped to Montreal. Civilian clothes to be sent home C.O.D. Robertson, Colin & I went around town. Went though Capital Gymnasium. Had photos taken at Lancefieds. Had dinner at the Gilmour Hotel. Went back to Grounds. Marched to Central Depot against strong wind. Made a mash at the Depot on a young lady with a boy with kilts on. Boy's name was Gamble. Don't know her's. Stopped at The Hill. Was speaking to Stewart Morrison. Got into Montreal about 6:30. Very few people on platform. Marched to the Vancouver. Shown our bunks & then had supper. Went up town to take in the sights. Went to drill Hall met in with Royal Scots & 6th Fusiliers. Watched Scots drill then took in sights with Fusiliers. Went through Windsor Hotel. Went back to boat. Gave letter to one of the Victoria Rifles to post. Ellis of V.R.'s gave me a button.
