LETTER FROM ENGLAND.
Pte. Brown Writes His Mother.
Mrs. M. Brown had a letter from her son, Pte. M.J. Brown, Bramshott, England, who has been in hospital there with tonsillitis for the past two weeks, but was some better at the time of writing. Pte Brown said there were a few cases of diphtheria in his battalion, Pte. Brown went overseas a year ago with the 235th Battalion, but has been transferred twice since in England.
