My Dear Ada

I intended writing you all week but kept putting it off. Tom arrived Tuesday night and looks fine in kilts. He is in the next camp just ten minutes walk away. I was with him Wednesday night and last night.

We are certainly having glorious weather her it seem hard to realize that we are in England as it is more like Canadian weather.

I took Tom down to Hythe Wednesday night to show him around, but unfortunately he had to be in at 9:15pm, whereas I have a permanent pass until midnight. I don't use it every night but is handy to have one, as now with the daylight saving bill we don't feel like getting in so early.

Last night I brought him to see a football match between the 36th and 81st in which we won 3-0, but Tom was good enough to tell me the 92nd could beat them easily, so I am anxious to see their team.

We are having a pretty easy time now, about an hours instruction and then an hours rest. We are supposed to be training the 81st at the present time it is about 11 am and I am in the Y.M.C.A. There is also a bombing lecture going on, but I am not supposed to be listening.

With best Love
Willie
