Dear Father,

Just a note to go in with Mothers. It was very good of you to arrange about policies but I don't understand it. I sent the money to Trick in lots of time, and have [?] written him so he will no doubt send the money on to you in due time. I still have a little money in the bank in Winnipeg so might as well use it. I have also written Manager Bank of Montreal in Winnipeg, so that I hope everything will be OK in the future.
