Dear Newton:

I hope this letter reaches you on your birthday because "Happy Birthday." Mum received your letter and picture, they were swell. Aunt Zealda is home now. I got my report this month and it said "Probable" in other words I might pass. Mother is going to the hair dress on Saturday and Traer, Louise, and I are going to the show. Traer had his birthday and got, a baby brownie camera, $2.00, shoes, stationary, and a book. We have taken some pictures with the camera, we will send you them.

Traer is knitting him self a sweater. On Monday I can get my bike license at school for 50 cents. The principal is getting them for us. Will thats all for now.
