Dear Sir,
I have to acknowledge receipt of your communication dated 31st December last, and to inform you the only particulars received at this Office concerning the regret-able loss of your son No. 4191 Private C. T. Armstrong, 6th Field Ambulance, were contained in the final official confirming document which shows that he died at the 17th General Hospital, Alexandria, on the 24th of November, 1915, from wounds received in action at Gallipoli. These particulars were communicated to next-of-kin, shown as brother, Mr. George Armstrong, on the 2nd instant.
