Dear Mr. Senton,
The Royal Canadian Air Force Casualties Officer, Overseas, has advised me that your son, Flight Sergeant Claude Senton, was slightly injured on Active Service on September 28th, 1943, suffering from exposure, as a result from flying operations. He was admitted to the Helgafell American Hospital in Iceland.
Fortunately his injuried are not serious. I hasten to relieve your anxiety in regard to his care and you may rest assured that he will receive the best of medical attention.
Please be assured that if any further information is received at these Headquarters it will be communicated to you immediately.
